Over 80 editors representing 140+ industry titles will converge in London on January 26th to hear about Screen's plans for IPEX. The event will ensure that Screen is high on their IPEX preview agendas. In our next issue we will let you know who attended so you can provide any follow-up information.
Screen's 2nd generation of hybrid screening, Spekta 2, enables printers to experience the photorealistic quality of FM screening combined with the printability of a conventional screen. The result is photorealistic images on the same page as nice smooth flat colours.
Screen France is pleased to announce the appointment of four new distributors; Fuji Graphic Systems France, Solag, Fuji Tunisia and 2N Graphic. Fuji Graphic Systems France will serve France on a national basis whilst Solag will look after the Rhone Alpes (Lyon) area. Fujifilm, through their representative Sawarby Tunisia, is Screen's new distributor for this country and 2N Graphic will supply the West African French-speaking countries with Screen equipment. Each distributor will sell and support the full range of Screen solutions.
New Screen distributor 2N Graphic received many enquiries from potential Screen customers at the "Promote" exhibition based in Yaounde, Cameroun.

The TruePress 344 is attracting a huge amount of interest, particularly from commercial printers, high street outlets and in-house corporate production facilities looking for high productivity. High street specialist magazine, OneStop, analysed the TruePress 344 in its October issue.
Over the last ten months, Screen UK and its distributor SOS NW have seen an explosion in sales of CTP devices particularly in the North West of England. SOS NW has completed over 10 Screen violet CTP installations in the region and the popularity of the systems is set to continue.
